Asked by Hadrian's Wall Heritage Ltd to write the content for a revamp of its Frontier magazine, I focused on finding the people-related stories behind the organisation's activities. This meant working with the team there to understand the significance of the Wall for its many different stakeholders, including local businesses, archaeologists, naturalists, local residents, planners, schools and of course visitors from near and far. With each issue I looked for the human interest in what could otherwise have been rather dry stories.
